The Black Lion, Blackfriars Street/ Chapel Street, Salford

This is the annual Branch Christmas Social, and it will commence at 6 0pm. This year we are going outside the branch area, but the Black Lion is located very close to Manchester City Centre and can be easily reached by public transport by most branch members. This newly-reopened pub offers a good choice of cask beers and excellent food. The evening will no doubt include the usual features notably a quiz and the now legendary 'bran-tub'.
