A certificate was presented to the Swan to celebrate the rescue of the Swan Inn and thank the group of local people who rescued it in October 1994 and reopened it in March 2005 and continued to operate the pub until October 2008, during which time it was in the Good Beer Guide every year. It was then sold to a private owner to continue its operation.
